This dramatic footage shows a woman pulling a man’s pants down as she tugs them and begs forgiveness while kneeling on the ground after she accidentally hit his car and he refused GBP 20 as compensation.
The woman – not named in local media in Jinhua, in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province – was reportedly riding a scooter when she illegally changed lanes and collided with a white sedan.
Luckily, no one got injured but the car got scraped in the process.
Apparently aware she was at fault, the woman voluntarily knelt to the ground and pulled out CNY 200 (GBP 21) and offered it to the driver as compensation.
But the man reportedly refused and insisted they refer the matter to law enforcement.
Phone footage shows the woman then beginning to tug on the man’s brown shorts and pleading for forgiveness.
In the footage, she can be heard saying (in Chinese): “Brother, please forgive me! I can only compensate you with this money,” and hugs his thigh with the banknotes in her hand.
Baffled police officers are also seen attempting to convince the woman to quickly stand up and leave the scene.
But the woman is reluctant to let go and refuses to let go of his pants.
Amid her pleading, she accidentally pulls down the man’s shorts and a crowd of bystanders erupts into laughter.
The frustrated man then yells at her: “Why are you pulling my pants? Can you stop putting on a show here?”
The woman responds through tears: “Then should I help you put them on? What else do you want?”
Another clip captured by a witness shows the man shaking off the relentless woman and pulling his pants back up as the two continue bickering in the middle of the street.
It is currently unclear if the man accepted the compensation in the end.
