A disgruntled punter who apparently took a poo on the doorstep of the lobby of a luxury casino complex is being hunted by police.
Baffled officers are investigating a photo that emerged online showing a man squatting down with his shorts around his knees at the entrance to a mall attached to the casino.
Beneath him is what seems to be a pile of fresh poo after he had apparently taken a dump on the doorstep of the Marina Bay Sands complex in Singapore.
A spokesman for the gambling estate said on 31st October that managers are aware of the incident.
The following day (1st Nov), local media reported that a police investigation had been launched.
It is not clear from local media whether the man in the photo is an unhappy punter or simply someone who was caught short.
The resort is one of the most luxurious in the city state and suites at the casino’s hotel cost more than GBP 1,000 a night.
The casino is for high rollers only with 500 tables and 1,600 slot machines and its architects were reportedly inspired by decks of cards.
Revolted social media users hailed the bizarre protest.
‘Ray Lim’ joked: “He has the best views.”
Another, ‘Joe Jugga’, laughed: “A work of art.”
And ‘Herman Mohamed Amin’ commented: “Camouflage fail but salute to this guy!”
Then ‘Rocky Wolff’ quipped: “Champion.”
