This is the terrifying moment a massive tree branch crashed onto an overcrowded motor scooter on a city street during a powerful storm.
CCTV footage of the smash – in the city of Jodhpur, in the north-western Indian state of Rajasthan, with the images emerging online on Tuesday, 30th May – shows the huge branch snapping off in high winds and crashing onto the road.
It thunders down on top of the scooter carrying three people, knocking them senseless.
All three appeared to be unconscious.
Witnesses of the incident can be seen rushing to help the three people who were on the scooter after they were left sprawled on the road, pulling the tree off them and carrying them to the side of the road.
The injured scooter riders, reportedly three men, were quickly taken to hospital for treatment.
But amazingly, all three male victims survived with just cuts and bruises and were able to leave the hospital a few hours later, according to local media.
The Indian Meteorological Department had issued an Orange Alert for Rajasthan, with heavy rains battering the area on 28th and 29th May.
