This is the hilarious moment a distracted dad accidentally knocks down his little son with his bum after the playful toddler pulls away the chair from under him.
CCTV footage shows the moment the boy learns actions have consequences when he decides to move his dad’s stool as he was about to sit down while picking up the toys at their home in Shandong, in eastern China.
Completely unaware of the toddler’s stunt, the dad leaned back and landed on the floor.
But as he fell down, the child seemingly had not realised he was standing too close and got knocked down as well.
Although confused and with a sore bum, the father did not react to his injury but instantly turned to console the child as he burst out crying when he fell.
The clip attracted widespread attention on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, receiving more than 63,000 likes and over 140,000 shares.
Many netizens were quick to comment and poke fun at dad’s predicament.
One user titled ‘Extraordinary little furry diary’ wrote: “Baby: I didn’t expect karma to strike so quickly.”
