A Pakistani Navy helicopter crashed in southwest Pakistan killing at least three personnel.

According to a Navy statement, the Westland WS-61 Sea King helicopter with three people on board had apparently suffered a “possible technical fault” on Monday, 4th September.

Video footage of the incident shows the helicopter similarly struggling to stay level before dramatically tipping backwards and dropping to the ground behind the hill tail-first.

The dead included two navy officers and a soldier, a Pakistani Navy spokesman said.

They have been identified only as Pilot Lieutenant Commander Jawad, Assistant Pilot Lieutenant Commander Hamza, and technician Hasnain, according to local media.
