This is the incredible moment a woman survives when a chunk of a high-rise building collapses scattering debris all around her, yet she survives.

The chunk of bricks and mortar with the top of a high-rise building during gale force winds in Changzhi, in the Chinese province of Shanxi, on 8th June.

A one-metre-long section of the wall can be seen plunking down from the top of the building as the woman hurried along the road below, and when it hits the ground, it scatters into hundreds of pieces that knock the woman off her feet.

Although she is filled instantly, she then gets up and apparently only suffered only minor cuts and bruises as the video shows her standing up after collapsing and going on her way.

On the same day, the Shanxi Provincial Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning for strong winds, with an average wind force of up to 61 kph. The blue warning category is the weakest of the four downforce warnings in China, followed by yellow, orange and red.

As a result of the comparatively low wind level, local media reported that some netizens questioned whether the building quality was the main cause of the incident rather than the weather.
