A girl left furious after a row with her boyfriend climbed an 80-foot electricity pylon and was then followed by her worried boyfriend.
The incident happened in the Gaurela Pendra Marwahi district of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.
The dangerous escapade was captured on video, and as can be seen, the woman, named as Anita Bhaina, had already reached the top of the pylon when her boyfriend decided to join her, presumably in an attempt to calm her down and stop her from getting hurt.
Some villagers who are filming the young man, only named as Muskesh, struggling for the top from a safe point of view on the ground reportedly notified the local Pendra police station, and they intervened to ensure the safety of the individuals involved.
After some time, through careful negotiation and guidance from the police officers, both individuals were successfully persuaded to descend from the tower without the need to get the fire brigade involved.
it is believed that the electricity was not switched off during this time.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident not yet revealed whether they would be pressing charges for trespassing and other breaches.
