This is the moment a little girl walks into a shop a split second before a massive air conditioning unit crashes down to the street exactly where she had been.
The shocking footage was shot on a street in the city of Guangzhou which is in Guangdong province in southern China.
The little girl was unaware that workers had been trying to dismantle the air conditioning unit from a property above the shop when it accidentally broke free, and came crashing to the ground.
The girl’s horrified mother accused the workers of incompetence over the accident that involved the air conditioning unit falling from the fifth floor.
Shocked locals also complained and were seen shouting up from the street below at the workers, warning them that somebody could have been killed as a result of their incompetence.
A small crowd also gathered after the accident because of the loud bang that the heavy metal object made when it hit the street, and they demanded action.
However, police said that as nobody had been injured, there was no accountability and no case to answer.
