The crooks were however spotted and arrested when cops stopped them and discovered the cattle crammed awkwardly inside the vehicles in Assam’s Nagaon District in India.

The images seen here show some of the 32 stolen cattle that not fit inside the truck and were recovered from a car boot.

One photo shows what appears to be a calf crammed into the boot of one of the vehicles, with its head twisted in what looks to be a very uncomfortable position.

Another photo shows what appears to be two cows in the back of another vehicle lying on top of one another after they were found by the police team led by Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Kaliabor Rupjyoti Dutta during the night raid.
