This is the bone-crunching moment a street performer lands on his head on the pavement during a failed stunt for their social media channel.

The painful moment that resulted in him being hospitalised with a cerebral haemorrhage was filmed in Jinan, the capital city of Shandong province in eastern China.

Music can be heard in the background as the four performers stand on the pavement in front of a small crowd, with one of the people filming from the crowd recording this footage.

The taller of the four young men then leaps forward with his hands on the shoulders of two fellow performers, apparently attempting to do a backflip, but he overbalances and ends up toppling backwards instead.

As people in the audience gasp, he topples down headfirst and lands with a bang on the back of his neck on the pavement below.

His three friends instantly rush over, and it can be seen that although in pain, he is still alive, but was later hospitalised, where he was diagnosed with a serious head injury.

The group had also filmed themselves and captured the moment on camera, which was supposed to be later broadcast online.
