This is the moment a teacher learns his lesson after pupils catch him passed out drunk at his desk in northern India.
The primary school teacher in Hamirpur district, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, is seen apparently dead to the world after a boozing session.
Phone video footage of him being caught napping shows crowds of children and grown-ups inside his office and peering through a window grille.
Dead to the world, the teacher ignores their shouts telling him to wake up in the footage shared on social media on 3rd November.
And he does not even come to when one of the crowd repeatedly shoves his head and shouts: “Hey teacher, hey teacher.”
Slumped in his chair, he eventually becomes aware of the noise around him and comes to looking glassy-eyed and confused before the footage ends.
Local media reported that the teacher, not named by education officials, has been warned before about drinking on the job.
District Basic Education Officer Alok Singh said: “An investigation into the matter has been conducted. The teacher was found guilty and has been suspended.”
