This is the moment a fast-talking Indian TV reporter gets told to pipe down by a fed-up Israeli soldier while reporting on events on the ground.

The footage shows Pradip Dutta, wearing a red turban, talking excitedly to the camera as he reports from behind a wall with a group of other journalists.

Ahead of them, an Israeli soldier can be seen crouched down and taking cover.

But as Dutta’s voice gets higher and higher the baffled soldier looks round and pins him with a withering stare.

Then he gives him silent hand signals telling him to shut up and to stay low down like the other reporters and photographers around him in the warzone.

Amazingly, Dutta ignores the warning and carries on with his rapid-fire delivery until the footage runs out.

The reporter came in for a massive backlash when the footage emerged on social media.

One social media user called him a “loudmouth” while another said he had a mouth like a “siren”.

One user named as ‘bahl65’ said: “Really the Indian press needs to learn.”

While another ‘Urmi_’ added: “It’s high time channels stop training and encouraging this kind of dramatic and irresponsible journalism!

“It’s not impressive, it’s utterly shameful!”

And ‘sharpnish’ said: “Dear Israel, we are sorry… these jokers have been unleashed upon you.

“We the people have no control over them.. or else we would never allow them to be there.”

It is currently unclear where exactly in Israel the images were filmed.
