This is the moment a minivan crashes into a wall at an underground car park as it rolls down the steep entrance after the driver forgot to pull the emergency brake.

CCTV footage shows the moment the young delivery driver pulls up in front of what seems to be a shop in Ningbo, in eastern China’s Zhejiang Province at around 12:00am on 13th August.

He parks the loaded vehicle at the entrance of an underground parking lot and enters the business.

Almost immediately, the silver minivan begins rolling backwards as the driver apparently forgot to pull the handbrake.

It slowly travels towards the steep slope and picks up speed after reaching it.

The video then cuts to another scene captured by the parking’s surveillance camera which shows the vehicle scraping against the wall.

Seconds later, it crashes into a concrete pillar which forces the boot open, causing the cargo to fall out.

Dozens of glass bottles scatter across the ground as another vehicle backs away to avoid running over them and accidentally blowing a tyre.

No injuries have been reported.

The video was later shared on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, with the caption: “Heartfelt Reminder…Even a great car can’t withstand negligence.

“The importance of using the handbrake or Auto Hold. Don’t be careless and end up in an accident.”
