Mice at this Chinese company know how to chill while enjoying a snack after packing the firm’s air conditioning unit with stolen peanuts.

The secret storage depot for the stolen loot was only discovered when the company found that the air-conditioner was barely working, and called in an employee from a repair firm to fix it.

And this was the scene that greeted the unnamed employee of the company in Hebei Province when they took it apart to find out why it had been apparently working, yet was not generating any cool air.

Inside, they found it was being used as a fridge by a group of chilled-out mice that quickly scattered when their treasure trove was discovered.

The employer was then left with the job of removing all the food that was left after the mice run for it.

They said they had no idea the mice were there, and probably the sound of the air conditioning unit would have drowned any noise they might have made.
