This is the chilling moment commuters are covered in snow as it seeps in through the busted roof of their bus during a blizzard.

Bizarre phone footage shows the passengers, fully geared in winter clothing, patiently sitting on a run-down bus in Jilin Province, in north-eastern China, on 18th November.

There appeared to be nearly a dozen of them calmly awaiting their stop while the seats were covered in a layer of snow that piled on as it fell through the broken roof.

Seemingly forced to withstand the cold in order to get to work, the commuters had crowded in the front and back of the vehicle to avoid the area where it was snowing the most.

Ms Wang, who captured the footage, said she was riding the bus when she suddenly felt snowflakes fall on her head.

The stunned passenger said much of the snow that poured in had piled onto the roof overnight, during a violent storm.

Her video went viral on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, reaching more than 2.2 million likes and over 3.2 million shares.

Many netizens were shocked at the sight, while others ridiculed the situation.

One user titled ‘Super silly Kangkang’ commented: “The passengers in the car are calmer than frozen fish sitting on ice at a supermarket.”

User ‘Xiaoxin sells crayons’ wrote: “Everyone is calm as if the snow was a special effect.”

And ‘1 ball split’ said: “This bus is really unique.”

The Jilin City Urban Transport Public Transport Group later said that they were made aware of the incident and that they will rectify the issue.
