The footage shows the moment a young man collapses and dies of a heart attack while dancing during a Hindu festival.
In the footage, the young man, identified only as Prasad, can be seen dancing in the company of another person during Ganesh Chaturthi, to commemorate the birth of the Hindu deity Ganesh.
But just moments later, the 26-year-old is caught losing balance and suddenly dropping on the ground as worried guests try to help.
The incident happened in the Vinayaka Mandapam venue, in the city of Bangalore, located in the southeast of the South Indian state of Karnataka on Wednesday evening, 20th September.
The 26-year-old man was reportedly rushed to hospital where it was determined that he had suffered a heart attack.
He was declared dead after resuscitation efforts by medics failed to provide results.
The video reached more than 75,000 views in less than a day after it was posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday, 21st September.
Social media users offered their condolences to Prasad’s family in the comment section.
