A woman who prayed to have more children has given birth to quadruplets.
Gyanati Devi, 32, from the village of Nainijor, in the district of Buxar, in the Indian state of Bihar, gave birth to four boys at a hospital in Arrah on Saturday, 28th October after going into labour.
The four baby boys were delivered by cesarean, according to Gynecologist Dr Gunjan Singh.
The babies and their mum are doing well, according to reports, although the newborns reportedly needed surgery after being born.
Bharat Yadav, her husband, is reportedly overjoyed, as is the rest of the family.
The couple had reportedly had trouble conceiving after getting married in 2013 but Gyanati underwent treatment after a miscarriage in 2015 and gave birth to a baby girl called Chandni three years ago before giving birth to a boy two years ago.
After that, the woman reportedly prayed for more children.
And now her prayers have been answered after she gave birth to the quadruplets.
The couple had been told beforehand that Gyanati was pregnant with quadruplets but she did not know that all four of them would be boys.
News of the quadruplets being born has reportedly delighted locals, with many queuing up to get a glimpse of the four newborn baby boys.
