This is the moment when a badly loaded truck is seen leaning precariously into the traffic coming the other day, before suddenly correcting its position and tipping back when half of the load is smashed away by an oncoming vehicle.
The bizarre accident occurred in Linyi, in the Chinese province of Shandong, when a heavily loaded truck was still driving despite the fact that the load was starting to shift, and partially blocking the other lane for oncoming vehicles.
The video starts off by showing a car that manages to swerve out of the way at the last minute , but a much larger lorry that is immediately behind it is less fortunate, and is unable to avoid hitting the badly leaning load.
The force of the blow tears open the covering revealing that the lorry is carrying what appears to be wood fragments which then exploded across the road, covering another car that is following behind it and also knocking an unfortunate woman on an electric motorbike flat on the ground.
It also left the road completely blocked by the wood shavings with bemused motorists climbing out of their vehicles to inspect the damage and work out how they are going to carry on with the road blocked.
The footage was later posted on Douyin, The Chinese version of TikTok.
