A 78-year-old grandpa stunned park visitors when he went up to a tall, steel pole and climbed it with his bare hands in just seconds with incredible ease.

The unnamed OAP displayed his agility in a phone video captured in a park Nanjing, in China’s eastern Jiangsu Province on 22nd October.

Neatly dressed in a white shirt and khaki pants rather than workout clothing, he stood by the pole before he confidently grabbed onto it with both hands and began climbing up it.

His movements were so steady and smooth that he almost appeared to be sliding up to the top.

In contrast, as he hopped back down on the ground, the 78-year-old reached the top of the pole, then gracefully descended even quicker.

The unexpectedly strong grandpa left many bystanders and netizens on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, in awe.
