This is the moment a girl student plays it cool when a monkey walks calmly into a girl’s dorm in search of something to eat.
The incident in which the young woman was clever enough not to run off and startle the monkey happened in the southwestern Chinese province of Guizhou, China.
Footage shows a girl sitting on a stool near the balcony playing with her phone and eating something when the monkey breaks into the room.
The girl was terrified of the monkey, but she was clever enough to realise that she had no alternative but to sit firm and quietly on the stool, waiting for the monkey to leave.
The monkey suddenly jumped to sit on the desk in front of her, while the girl tried not to look at it, but she did not dare to move.
It then appears that the monkey found something to eat, put the food in his mouth, and then went out to the balcony.
Only then did the girl feel it was safe to move and get up from the chair, and when the monkey spotted a second girl appearing, it also decided to leave.
The footage was posted on Douyin the Chinese version of TikTok, and the video received more than 56,000 comments.
