F&K Cafe, located in Guangzhou, in Guangdong Province, has come under fire after the images of the topless woman said to be a waitress spread on social media.

The unknown woman was seen wearing just tight black shorts, high heels, and a revealing apron, posing in different areas of the cafe and even helping prepare drinks in the kitchen.

Many social media users slandered the store for using “pornographic marketing” by having an employee pose practically nude to attract customers.

Some users on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, even suggested the police be called on the store owners.

Douyin user ‘Shen’ commented: “Young people of today! It’s so revealing! It’s so indecent!”

Another user, named ‘Miss Zhu’, said: “There are too many people like this now. They have neither quality nor education, and they are especially shameless.”

But others defended the woman, saying that in the modern world, the topic of what people are wearing is nothing but boring.

A Douyin user titled ‘a tear’ said: “No one said that you aren’t free to dress however you like, right?”

Following the controversy, F&K Cafe responded to the criticism and denied the woman from the photos ever worked for them.

They claimed unauthorised people took the photos after entering the store without permission and ignored requests to leave.

The cafe added they strongly disapprove of such behaviour and will take legal action against anyone who harms the company’s reputation.
