The video shows the moment a GBP-200,000 red Ferrari gets smashed up into pieces after it collides with another vehicle at a busy intersection.
The footage shows the 2019 Ferrari F8 Tributo speeding at a red light when it suddenly gets hit sideways by a white vehicle storming from its right shortly before midnight on Saturday, 9th December.
Local media revealed that the crash happened at an intersection in the Chenghua district, in the city of Chengdu, located in China’s Sichuan Province. And left the posh vehicle’s bonnet severely damaged.
A second video recorded by eyewitnesses shows a closeup of the damaged vehicles with one of the drivers. Reportedly the white car’s owner, sitting on the asphalt with an injured leg.
The Ferrari driver was reportedly unharmed.
Netizens on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok. Could not hold back from sharing their thoughts after seeing the footage of the accident on the social media platform.
Douyin user ‘985 Fried Noodles’ said: “These two drivers are talented people.”
User ‘daso’, who was allegedly on-site at the time of the crash, commented: “The first thing the Ferrari driver did when he got out of the car was to accuse the owner of the white car.”
And ‘Chengdu Xirun Jiahong Decoration Lu Hongbin’ added: “This video is so concerning.”
