This is the moment a woman was hauled into custody after shocking footage shows her performing a sex act with a man on a packed city street as stunned crowds gather to film the scene.
The incident took place on Jiefang West Road in Changsha, Hunan province, China, in the early hours of 15th March.
Footage shows the woman, with short blonde hair and dressed in black clothing, exchanging gestures with a man before she drops to her knees and the situation escalates into explicit conduct on the pavement in full public view.
Within moments, a large crowd forms around them, with hundreds of bystanders seen filming on their phones as shouting and cheers ring out, turning the scene into a chaotic spectacle.
Police were alerted and rushed to the location, where officers dispersed the crowd and detained those involved.
According to the Tianxin branch of the Changsha Public Security Bureau, the woman, 35, and the man, 36, were both taken into custody.
Authorities said the pair were arrested on suspicion of “picking quarrels and provoking trouble”, a criminal offence in China linked to serious disruption of public order.
Police confirmed criminal compulsory measures have been imposed on both individuals, with the case now under further investigation.
