A paraglider was caught on video as he crashed into the guardrails of a tall bridge and got injured.
The unnamed pilot is seen on dash-cam footage moments before the painful landing on the Tianyuan Bridge, in Zhuzhou, in south-central China’s Hunan Province on 9th September.
In the video, the pilot is seen suddenly falling from the sky after his powered paraglider apparently malfunctioned and caused him to crash into the right-side railing, narrowly dodging passing vehicles.
Another piece of footage shows the injured man lying on the side of the road, with a visible amount of blood seen on the ground underneath his legs.
The man appears to be making a phone call as several concerned bikers stand around him, apparently making sure he is okay.

The person who filmed the scene said although the man got wounded during the fall, his injuries were not life-threatening.
Staff from the Wangjialing Paragliding Flight Camp in Zhuzhou told local media that the man was a flying enthusiast who set off from their camp, but was not a customer of theirs.
They added that his powered paraglider suddenly malfunctioned and lost thrust while flying, which caused it to stall and fall to the ground.
