This is the moment an elephant goes on a rampage in India and attacks a bus full of terrified passengers.
The incident took place in Artham village in Andhra Pradesh state’s Parvathipuram Manyam district today (Monday, 4th September).
The footage shows the angry tusker attacking the passenger bus and smashing its windscreen with its tusks after charging straight into the front of it.
The bus passengers can be seen running away in terror as the large animal attacks the vehicle.
The bus driver was reportedly still inside the vehicle at the time of the attack and can be seen reversing it away from the elephant, which eventually loses interest.
The large mammal can then be seen chasing a terrified man down the road before coming to a stop near the person filming, who appears to have taken shelter inside a building.
Forestry officials were alerted to the incident but it is currently unclear if any action is being taken over the matter.
It is also currently unclear what happened after the footage ended. No one is thought to have been injured in the incident.
