This is the shocking moment an electric car smashes into a restaurant at high speed, completely wiping out two people who were in the seating area.

The footage was shot at the restaurant in Sanming City, in China’s Fujian province, when the Ideal electric vehicle (EV) crashed into a restaurant at such high speed without apparently breaking.
Local authorities confirmed that the incident is under investigation and the driver, a man who has not been named, has been taken into custody.
According to surveillance footage, the incident occurred around 5:00 pm on 26th June when the black-coloured car smashed its way into the restaurant, causing the two people inside to be thrown out of the camera’s view.
It is reported that one of the two people that were struck later died.
In response to the incident, local law enforcement agencies have said that a thorough investigation is underway.
The driver of the Ideal EV has been taken into custody, and both the local police and third-party investigators are involved in determining the cause of the accident.
The Ideal vehicle involved in the incident has been identified as a model from the L Series.
