This is the horrific moment a doctor repeatedly slaps a hospital patient for not revealing he was infected with HIV while he was being treated.
Phone footage from the ward in India shows the furious medic holding one of the frail 45-year-old patient’s arms while he batters him.
The patient’s other arm, which has a medical drip attached to it, is apparently being held down by a second doctor.
As the patient protests feebly, the scowling white-coated medic slaps him hard three times around the face before the footage ends.
The medic then went on to attack a relative who had brought the patient to hospital, according to local media.

The angry confrontation, filmed at the government-run Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital (MYH) in Indore, in the state of Madhya Pradesh, was shared online on 28th October.
The enraged junior trauma doctor was later named as Akash Kaushal.
The patient had been transferred to MYH from a hospital in Ujjain, also in Madhya Pradesh, for treatment for a fracture.
Kaushal’s anger reportedly exploded when he learned that the patient and the family member who brought him in had revealed his HIV-positive status.

Hospital superintendent Dr Pramendra Thakur suspended Kaushal when the footage emerged.
A hospital inquiry is set to report on the beating later this week.
