This is the moment a courageous woman using only a broom chases off a four-man hit squad who were shooting at a neighbour.
The incident took place on a street in Dabur Colony, in the city of Bhiwani, in the state of Haryana, in India, at around 7:40 am on 27th November.
In the footage, the victim, identified only by his name, Hariya, can be seen standing in front of his house and waving to a motorcyclist who is driving past.
Seconds later, a gang of four young men can be seen driving towards Hariya on two bikes.
Two of the men can be seen alighting from the bike and they suddenly pull out guns and start shooting at Hariya, who was caught unawares.
The two men can be seen chasing and firing shots repeatedly at him as he scrambles into his house in order to escape the barrage of bullets.

It was at that moment that a woman, Hariya’s neighbour, can be seen coming from a neighbouring house with a traditional long broom and using it as a stick to chase the assailants off.
The gunmen, upon seeing her approaching, then rushed back to the bikes and the last scene, driving off into the distance.
From the footage, it looks as if one of the assailants even fired a shot at the woman, but she bravely chased them anyway and continued waving the broom as they drove off.
The woman can be seen going towards Hariya’s gate to check his state, calling him several times, and then the clip ends.
Hariya was reportedly critically injured with about four gunshot wounds and was taken to the civil hospital before being transferred to an advanced medical care centre due to the severity of his injuries.

The City Police Station and the Central Intelligence Agency reportedly arrived at the scene and are still investigating the case.
Hariya’s family reportedly did not want to cooperate with officials in tracking down attempted killers, nor did they provide any information about the incident.
The motive behind the attack is still unknown, and the assailants are still at large.
