This is the baffling moment when a couple try to stuff an entire mattress into a laundromat dryer.
Video footage of the bizarre load emerged on TikTok after it was filmed at the laundry in the city of Kangar, Perlis, Malaysia, on Sunday, 5th November.
The pair, not named in local media, are seen rolling up the green mattress in a bid to get inside the dryer and are apparently astonished when it does not fit.
What seems to be an earlier failed attempt can be seen sticking out of the door of the dryer beneath.
Laundromat owner Jiang Kaiwei, 37, told local media: “I find it very funny.
“It’s the first time that a customer has stuffed in such a large mattress.”
But he warned other customers that if a latex mattress was stuffed into the dryer, not only would the mattress melt, but the whole laundry could burn down.
He pleaded with customers to obey notices about what not to put in the dryers.
At this time of year in Malaysia laundry dryers are in big demand as monsoon rains make it impossible to dry washing naturally.
