A woman in the eastern coastal Chinese province of Jiangsu, China, who is obsessive about losing weight and skeletally thin has nevertheless managed to build up strength with strenuous exercise.

It is unclear what her BMI is but most commentators seem to agree that she is obsessive about her weight to the point of being anorexic. Such low weight causes health problems, including weakness, but the woman managed to overcome this by undergoing a rigourous exercise regime.

Over the course of 20 years, she has managed to maintain her weight at an unhealthy 90 pounds, saying that she is “determined never to be a fat person weighing over 45 Kilograms.”

Before the 34-year-old woman started exercising regularly, her weight was just almost 28 Kilograms, and even pushing a chair was a challenge.

However, after years of consistent exercise and strength training, she has been able to build muscle and increase her weight to 43 Kilograms, with visible muscle definition and toned lines.

According to the woman, the key to her transformation is consistent and dedicated exercise over a long period of time.

She emphasizes that exercise and strength training require persistence and dedication, not just a one-time effort.

She posted her videos while training on Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, and her account has 49,000 followers.
